Had a visitor while building boxes (must read)

First a back story i have lived in the ocala national forest for 18 years. i have watched this bear grow up for the past 3 years.

the cubs have jsut in the past month or so going away from mom, the father rarely shows up (he is about 4 1/2 5 foot tall at his back)

*i have never fed these bears period just have contact on a day to day basis.)

here is some photos and a video. pictures started with him about 12 feet away and he was walking toward me to about 7 feet.

video started at about 15 feet then i sat down on the ground and he came to about 8 feet before i ran out of video he ended up getting about 5 feet away before he turned away

black bears are very curious friendly critters they frequently come and sit outside my shop door and wait for me to acknowledge them they stay for a few minutes and leave

typical person that doesnt ****ing know anything and has the omg shoot it personality but thats typical of west palm.

if he would have attacked me or my family a simple kick to the *** will make them run away (yes i have kicked one in the *** after my dog was a dumbass and tried to fight momma bear last year.

if that doesnt work i carry a 1911 in .45acp in the small of my back in a IWB holster
