i grew up in Barrow, Alaska and have seen multiple polar bears come into town when the ocean thaws out and starts to break up. i have been within 15 feet of a huge momma polar bear but i was sitting inside a huge lifted F250. I would shit my pants if i werent protected inside a truck though.
