ok so here's the deal. i am looking to buy one 15" sub and i cant decide between those three. the 15" is going into a 1994 taurus SHO and i dont wanna spend over $300 for one sub. i am looking for sql... i want to get loud but i want it to sound good while it gets loud.i am planning on powering the sub with either a hifonics bx1205 or a bx1605. thanks.

i think you could have a little more power for the H2.. but nice subs.. id just go with somethin that youll get all your moneys worth out of

its hard to say between the SX and R.. i guess i havent heard an SX to make a call here..

but i can tell you that the Rs are some of my favorite subs out right now. very loud and still sound great.

i would also assume the Rs would play lower than the SXs.. Rs love the lows.. mine have awesome LFE, and i heard the SXs kinda lack there, if anywhere.

Rs are cheaper and will perform beautifully, but the sxs prolly will too and may be a louder daily sub.. tough call..

well I like the SX but since your looking for SQL go with the type R. The SX is more SPL than SQL. XXX would be more SQL than the SX.

(psst. reguardless of what the biased people say they are all good subs in their own right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif)

the type R is not "more spl"... the R sounds better *and* its louder than the SX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The R is in no way an SPL driver... if you want to call it something, its "SQL".
