ok i'm gonna be running a batcap 2000 and am wondering if it is required to run a h/o alternator. i am doing the big 3 but keepin the stock starter battery and running the batcap in the trunk. 0 gauge tsunami cable will be used throughout the system. will be powering an aq2200d pushin a hcca 15.2. don't want to buy an h/o alternator unless it is a must considering i am right around my budget limit on this system( a lil wiggle room but not much)

that 2200 on 14.4 volts will draw around 153 amps.... I would reccomend a 185 amp alt... good electrical is a must and i dont believe that you can go overkill... look at dc power
