Any idea if H.I.D conversion kits are difficult to install?

if you can change a headlight then not at all will take 5mins each bulb very easy plug and play.

difficulty depends on the installer....if you are handy, then it is not hard...if you are a DA then 10/10 on difficulty

no...he is taking about the whole kit to my understanding (ballast, igniters, bulbs and fuses)

i was taking about the whole kit also i have put in atleast 10 hid kits for differnt cars and all it is you remove bulb put hid bulb in the the factory headlight wire goes into the belaster then the bellaster wires contect to the new hid bulb and thats it 5mins each headlight.

you have done 10 and he has done none....it will take longer than 5 mins a side

well that is way i said if he can change a light bulb lol if not its mite take 15-20mins a side

it can take up to an hour to an hour and a half for some cars. lawl. 15-20 min. pssshhhhhhh.

certain cars, like mine. i had to remove the bumper then remove the head light to access the bulb. along with the installation you have to find and mount the ballast in a safe dry area in the engine bay. then you have to wire everything up(depending on the kit you choose). then clean up the wiring mess you will initially make and secure all wires so they don't dangle around freely. then re mount everything.

my first one was the one i put on my truck. and it took me around 1.5 hours. the reason it took so long was because of trying to find a place to mount my ballasts. if you already have everything mapped out where its gonna mount and such. 30 minutes tops

you must have a honda accord 2005up but in thoses cars all you need to do is recmove the wheelwell cover if it take 1-1.5hours to change a bulb that means it would cost $90-$135 plus the light bulb cost to change a bulb at the dealer come on get real you must not know how to work on cars im guessing lol

no i drive an 05 civic. and i have taken my front end off many of times. removing the splash gurad only gives access to the turn indicator.

i realize that, but when you go offroadin you want them mount securely

as posted previously, the hardest thing is figuring out where to mount the ballasts.
