guys with single sub box in trunk

i have a 4 door car so i have my sub(box too ofcourse) and amp in the trunk.

ive had it hooked up for quite some time now but cant stop the box from slidding around, i finally got my amp hooked up perfectly yesterday(Nice and neat) and drilled it to the truck so it cant move now, BUT the problem is when this heavy a$$ box slides and hits my amp it will be able to damage it pretty good.

how should i get my box to stay in a certain spot?

My box and sub weighs approx. 60lb or more......I have velcro on the bottom front edge of my box. It does NOT move and is solid as a rock. I have the velcro installed to the box and trunk floor with carpet tape. Cant even tell its there also.

Velcro the box to the floor.

Install an L-Bracket to the floor & bax wall.

Mount a couple of rubber non-skid feet.

i never would have thought velcro would actually hold a sub and box and keep it in one spot..thanks guys

Actually what Im using is a stonger version of Velcro.........called Dual Lock.....but from what I understand......velcro works just as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I use that black open cell foam stuff sold to line toolboxes and shelves...works fine for me.

I use velcro, but it sucks when your carpet isn't mounted to the floor (Like in cheap civics) becuase the box still moves a little and the whole carpet comes with it.
