Was the gain set exactly the same(ouput wise) when you installed this deck????
yep. It was much much lower instantly once the new HU was put in, so i had to raise it up alot, and its still not hitting as hard as it was before.

100hz isnt subbass.1V more preout voltage shouldnt make the difference.
It could be how you set your EQ
Get a **** DMM and get the measurement. Then be done with all these **** threads. I mean cmon kid, you gotta learn to do some things on your own sooner or later.I think i set it fine? I have 60hz and 100hz at +4 :dunno: non-Fader is all the way up, High pass is 100 and above, low pass is below 100.
No, its not set fineYou have it done way wrong
subs should only play under 80hz, if that
Mids should crossover what the sub doesnt play, 80hz or whatever you can set it at.
Those CDT's should be able to take those frequencies just fine
MUWAHAHHAHAA.... I have to laugh because it seems like its far from perfect //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif..... LIAR //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.They seem to distort when i set the crossover at 80. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Set your EQ properly. I don't think you should be setting the crossover at 100. 80 would be fine, if it is "Distorting" when you do that, then there is something else very wrong.
Why does everything you own ****?
I dunno....(looks up about 5 posts). //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifWhat would cause it to be distorting then? It was doing that even at low speaker amp gain.
