i think it was either from to much clipping or being played below tuning or it was just a bad moofer.

well it was tuned to 34 hz? it could be a combo of everything

Dang, Guess thats just a plain SPL woofer. All the tuning recommendation points are so high. I agree with everyone else. Seems like u found some way to mess it up by doing something wrong. I'm leaning toward clipping.

you right i was looking at the 15... either way, 3000 watts of music would blow that sub the EFF up

It wasnt clipping it was just to much power for the driver at that freq., amp puts out well over rated power, the coil just couldnt take it for that long, i dont know of many that can.
