Decided to test a couple of amps a video them for Youtube and curious what you all think the results will be.

I ordered 3 amps, all of them budget amps and likely overrated... ok guaranteed to be overrated lol

1st. Planet Audio PL1500 rated at 1500W MAX at 2 ohm, 750W RMS @ 2ohm costs $59.99. I will be STUNNED if it passes 300W Rms, I am betting it has the same board as the Boss Armor 1500 so 200W is likely going to be the ouput.

2nd. MB Quart ZA2-1500.5 rated a 4x60Wrms 2 4ohm and 1x1000Wrms @1ohm. Curious how this one does, it's certainly a big mofo coming in at almost 25" long, and has a fuse rating of 150 amps, I have a feeling it will do 50Wx4 and 700W @1ohm

3rd. Belva BB5000dv2 rated at 1x3000W @ 1ohm, this one I am actually kind of excited to test. The BB3000Dv2 while overrated did a respectable 1389 Certified and 1950 Dynamic, so the dynamic did exceed ratings. Someone did a clamp test on Youtube and it 1800W+ at 2ohm... SO If this amp does anything over 2200 It's an absolute STEAL (I paid $180 with a sale code), Personally I think it does 2500W..

pa should do 400 rms can't believe it's that cheap, so if it does over 450 it still not bad..
They had a bunch of amps in the 60-100 range. I can't picture this amp doing over 300W, looks like they spent more on the LED lights on it then the circuit board.

The Belva will do good. Id say 2300. They will take .5 no problem as well.
I would take one over the CAB 1600 any day.
I've got high hopes on this one, circuit board looks pretty solid, granted I haven't seen if the caps are no name junk yet.

Have you seen one operate at .5 resistive? I have enough resistors to get down to .625ohms, but If it does over over 2300 @ 1ohm, I'm not going to drop it down any further as my power supply screams uncle whenever I get over 2800W

I’ll buy that Belva from you after testing. I’m throwing out 2490w for the Belva! From what I’ve seen they do ~80% rated so for the price they are a good deal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My only experience is we put 3 of them (v1s) on 6 HDC3 15s at .5 each and they have been still kicking for over a year now. So no not resistive.

Cool, in that case maybe I'll try a .75 run depending on how the 1 ohm comes out

Which amp and which speakers? What crossover are you using? You may be fine so long as you never push the volume too hard.
