Greed of BMW

I can do everything that doesn't require a lift. I pulled the whole upper and lower intake off my ranger to replace the injectors. It's not hard to do, just takes time. If I had a car lift, I could pull my own engine and ****** if I needed to.

I sold the ranger though, it was giving me hell. Some sensor wasn't acting correctly and it takes an act of god for that old POS obd-1 computer to actually registry a correct and consistent code.

When I lived in the country, I had to change my front calipers and was doing engine work, fairly minor. I had all the wheels off, and my truck jacked up on concrete bricks in my back yard lol

That ranger had some major problems. The cab mounts were shifted and the suspension was bent because it looks like somebody like jumped it off the road and landed on the left side. That front left spring and the rear left leaf spring permanently compressed by .5", I had to get spacers added to level it back out.

Something like the cam positioning sensor was bad on it and I just couldn't figure out what I was, even bought a used ECU or whatever and replaced it, it helped some. Just couldn't figure it out and neither could any shops.

Ugh, so I felt this one coming. I swear this was supernatural. I almost had my window clipped in. So I needed to role it up just a hair, so I bumped the window switch just a hair to roll it upwards. For some reason, it then rolled itself downwards so hard that it broke the plastic wheel and the wire also went under the plastic cover that channels the wire into the wheel, connected to the motor. I have never seen a window roll itself down so hard, mind you it did this by itself, that it broke the mechanism. Usually there's some sort of electronic stopper in place to prevent the motor from turning after it's reach the complete bottom, but it definitely did not do that. I was shocked, honeslty. I swear something else did that, it was so strange. So now I gotta by $150 piece :(

It was wild. Wound up being $70 not $150. I knew I couldn't get away with $7.28!!! LOL

Idk what happened, I've never seen that before. It didn't even try to stop when it was at the bottom, that's what broke it.

What happened to me would be the same as this: imagine you tapped your window switch up just a bit to make the gap of the open window a little less, and then your window then rolls down as hard as it can and keeps trying to roll down after it's already hit the bottom. My hands weren't touching anything, I was just standing there when it happened.
