Most likely the brake fluid is starting to get old and burnt ..flush the fluid get some fresh dot4 in the system and hopefully good as new again....

yeah that's what someone else literally just told me as well. i may try that. idk what the life expectancy is on those calipers.

A lot easier and cheaper to flush the system and go from there ...you'd at least know the fluid is fresh to isolate any other issues ...

i may do that, not sure if it's ever been changed before. i wonder how difficult it'll be, hope there's an easy way to bleed

Most likely a YouTube video on it or at least something to point you in the right way ... I've seen those pumps at places like harbor freight that self bleed the brakes but have never used one ...

I've used one from autozone, make it really easy. i replaced the front calipers on my ranger and had to bleed the lines, it was pretty easy.

For sure. Good engineering, good MPG, easy and cheap to work on. If my car broke today i'd buy a 3 or 4 year old Camry and then add butyl/CCF/MLV. Would have a good reliable car that drives well and is quite but won't break the bank
