got scammed, need help

Contact him from another number and see about the house. Meet up with him

his cell is still turned on. got in contact via the news paper. already tried calling from 4 diff numbers. goes to voice mail.

How exactly did you get scammed? He was selling a house, you gave him $400 to hold it for you, and he decided to just keep the money and not sell/rent it?

Did your wife meet him? Maybe get a cheap $5 calling card and have her call like she is interested in the place and have the police meet him with you? If he has done this to a bunch of people chances are he may be funding and addiction or just be plain greedy and will do it again.

met him in person at a waffle house. didnt see what vehicle he was driving

ad posted on craigslist. appears he set a time for about 4 or 5 other families to meet at the house they all showed up at the same time and he didnt.

he was renting the house out. we paid 400 as our deposit. and he did the same thing to about 7 or 8 other people. now he is not answering his calls.

she met him with me. she has called from her cell, my mom in law called from her cell, called from my cell, my sister called from her home phone and cell. all calls go to the voicemail

our paycheck isnt until friday. at that time we will have plenty of money. but I borrowed 200.00 of the money to get in the house before anyone else did.
