he told us over the phone that he left the back door unlocked which he did. we went to the house and looked around before we met him.

same was going on in Portland, OR.. it stopped once my brother, his wife and myself caught her scamming *** on cam and had the cops show up.

This kind of BS is going to become more common with unemployment rising the way it is. It's a bad day when you get scammed and the deal didn't take place on CA.com:laugh:

So today we found an awesome deal for a new house. we met the guy today and paid him 400.00 as a down payment to hold the house. We filled out a rental application so the guy has all my information. As it turns out the guy scammed us and about 7 or 8 other families.
I have already filed a report with the police, but they do not seem to think anything will be able to be done to catch the guy.

If anyone has any type of access to look people up i would appreciate any info you can get for me. his cell is 918-829-4553 his name is supposedly David. It is a cricket phone number (cricket communications)

Bank of America has a more legit one. Privacy assist. I rather go through Bank of America than life lock, who advertises on the raido. To me, they just dont sound totally legit.

A lot of insurance companies, banks and credit card companies have this type of service too. He should look at one of them.
