got rear ended and got screwed

so last night one of my friends and I were driving to menards in my car and this guy was just on my *** so I tap the brakes a little bit telling him to back off so then he tries to pass me on the right in one of those lanes where you pass when someone is turning left but he doesn't get passed. so he is even more pissed and gets closer I do the same thing again tap the brakes, so then he tries to pass me on the right and I don't let him pass. so he gets back behind me and is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif and then I get on the brakes but not hard I just start slowing down then out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a deer so I put the brakes on some more then he taps my rear bumper. Well then we pull over and he comes back to my car and yells "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING!!!" then walks around my car and back to his car so we call the cops. They come, cop come up to my car and said what happened so I told him the story and blah blah blah, cop says "you didn't see no deer did you." I told him I thought I saw one because there is a snowmobile trail right next to the highway and then there was a car vs deer collision right up the road. But the cop never beleived me and I bet if I was 25, 30 years old he would've beleived me. Anyways all I did was go there and say the dude rear ended me. They said that its pretty much case shut. He wasnt following a safe distance so... he is to blame.

1. Find an attorney, get a copy of the report, take it to court. Rear end collisions are failure to maintain control of vehicle. He is in the wrong. No matter what the reason, if you decide to stop, the person behind you in traffic still can't run into you.

2. NEXT TIME LET HIM PASS YOU. Don't let someone's problems, driving or otherwise, become yours. You never know what's going on in someone else's head.

3. Try civil court if criminal court doesn't work out. The fact you were rear-ended should be in that report. I'm not promoting fraudulent litigious activity, but you got worked over on that deal.

So a guy wants to pass you and he's being a dick about it.

Your options are-

A- He's obvoiusly in more of a hurry then you and even though he's being a dick its not worth the trouble so you let him pass then then just get on your life.

B- You give into your ego and show him that you are not to be messed with by slamming on the brakes and blocking his pass attempts, afterall he is a dick and needs to be taught a lessson.

You choose B and end up getting rear ended.
