Got pulled over on my GSXR... Is this right?

is it your natural reaction to run from the cops, then slow back down to the speed limit? i dont think that nailing the throttle on a (pretty much) race ready bike, then slowing back down to the speed limit is the same as cruising at 2-5 mph over the speed limit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i agree, natural selection ftw. but i thought you quit this forum because you couldnt handle the one guy with the one word responses...
meh

I say just pay it and move on. The points, if any, won't be there forever. I have been through the same thing when I was younger.
I def was not calling you stupid. I am sorry if you took my post that way. That being said, I would never sell my wife, family, or friends short by not wearing the required gear. Stunting will never happen, I promise you that. In moderation, yes I do speed. After losing my cousin to a high speed motorcycle crash and having to postpone my wedding so everyone could attend his funeral, I have become a lot less likely to speed in general, regardless of the vehicle.

I guess my bottom line to you is, when you disobey the law and get caught, man up and take responsibility for what you did. Above all, take safety seriously, the alternative can literally be fatal.
Thats another thing that EVERY person brings up, how they have had family or friends die on a motorcycle. So do i, so does everybody. Ive had multiple very good friends die in car accidents and had a very good family friend (20 years old) die on his ninja, i know what its like.

Im not going to court to FIGHT it. I think i will take pictures of where it is now, how everything is fixed, and take a picture in of how it used to be ( i will upload on here, i think there is one on my cell). I was going to go to court to get money taken off (had friends that did it), and maybe points taken off, if any were issued. If i have 1 more point, my license is gone.

Still havnt made up my mind what ill do, if i do get points if i go to court it takes a couple months anyways, so i can keep my license that much longer for the time being. Went to court for my speeding ticket and had the fine lowered, and it pushed back the ticket like 3 months because of the court date.

Holy crap! You have 1 pt available and you decided to ride your bike with all of those things wrong and speed? You may need to take a break from the road for a bit. I am not trying to be an as shole. But please, for the sake of everyone on the road, stop doing what your doing. Whatever it is, I could care less, but you shouldn't be out putting others at risk. I may get flamed for saying this, but ****.

On a side note, where in PA are you? I have a ton of family in Greensburg. Coincidentally, that is where my cousin was killed on his bike.

My girlfriend lives in latrobe, right outside of greensburg.

don't waste everyone's fucking tax dollars by fighting a ticket for things that you are guilty of and knew you were breaking the law before hand.

you're and idiot and i hope you get your license taken away. then i spose you will drive anyways then get pulled over and proceed to come on here to ***** about how you got a ticket for driving without a license and how the cop shouldn't have pulled you over and how you weren't doing anything wrong.

Im not hating on ANY sport/super bike riders here, but THIS is the reason why I got rid of my chopper. Well, part of the reason anyway. Out here, in New Orleans, Wednesday is Bike Night, everywhere. I promise you, at LEAST 25 go down for either acting stupid, or improperly maintained bikes.

I, am too fat to be caught on a rocket, so I built a chopper. Being 22-26 when I had it, I was not sitting well with the older guys, I was just a young prick on a nice bike. And I REALLY didnt sit well with the rocket guys because their ladies liked choppers, lol, just kiddin.

BUT...from what I have been told, 100+, cops wont chase here. Too dangerous. They'll try to call ahead and get a roadblock. I never saw, or dealt with this first hand, so i dont know.

lol well I don't think I'm so commited to something that I would have to "quit" anythin, but work is too slow sometimes, and ca.com is not blocked for cal trans.

First off...I think most of you crotch rocket tards are just that...tards. Stunting? Speeding? No protective gear? Duh.

OP,you are the worst of all. Dilapidated bike, expired plates, speeding. Big Duh. Get your broke-ass a job or sell the bike.

A cop can follow you on the road anytime they want. They can run your plates anytime they want. That's why you have to display them in the first place.

My best friend is a cop. Here's a little glimpse into what they do:

Scenario 1:

A group of vehicles speed past you in the opposite direction. Which one do you pull over? You whip a u-turn and chase the idiot that DOES NOT slow down. The guy who keeps speeding makes the decision for you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suicide.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

Scenario 2:

A group of males in a vehicle pass by you in the opposite direction late at night. You and the other car are the only two cars on the road. You pretty much know that they've been partying, or will be partying, up to no good, or something. What do you do? Again you whip a u-turn, chase them down with no lights, get right behind them, then watch as they throw all the weed/beer/anything stolen out of the car window in a panic, then speed past them like you were going somewhere else. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
