Got pulled over on my GSXR... Is this right?

Either you pay for it when you need it, or you pay for it every paycheck even if you never use it. I'll take the former. Besides, I don't think costs are that bad, like $35. The real costs come in the form of the judge converting your ticket into $$$, if he decides to let you off.

Whoa whoa whoa....

Does anyone else notice any thing wrong with these snippets?
yes i do, i notice alot of things wrong with his entire prediament...

here is what i would do if i were in your shoes...

i would sell the bike, its obvious you cant afford it, and it is not your main method of transportation (otherwise you wouldnt be on a car audio forum, and if you do have another vehicle, i have absolutly no idea how you can afford the luxury of a car stereo if you cant afford to support your other hobbies such as riding motorcycles...). use the money from selling the motorcycle to pay your ticket, cut your losses, maybe buy another bike when you are able to afford one... if you are so broke that you cant afford the things required to ride legaly/safely, perhaps you should consider that before you go out for a ride...

secondly, how in the hell were you being profiled???? if you were riding properly, none of your skin should have been visible. otherwise, riding a bike with bald as hell tires and no jacket/helmet = //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif . next point, you ran, what a genius move. next, if your lisence isnt in the stock location, it is the officers disgression as to whether its visible or not. apparently yours is not as visible as you thought...

another little add on here... if your bike is an 05, how has the tag been expired since 05 as well? shouldnt it have come with a valid sticker that would expire in 06? it seems illlogical (and improbable) to me that an inspection sticker would expire in the same year that it was issued...

agreed

all i got to say is be thankful he didnt feel like being a hardon about you running....i tell you this first hand I RAN from a state trooper holding a wheelie at like 45mph...no cars near me....he pulled out i dropped it a gear and took off, got off the next exit made it home...next day im all over the front page, looking for me and any info leading to my arrest..1 week later I come down stairs in my boxers to eat my **** wheaties and who is standing at the bottom of my steps with his 10 gallon hat...Mr. Staty....long story short I'm on probation for 9months...but luckily got the FELONY EVADING AND ELUDING dropped to a disorderly...MORAL of this short story DONT F*CKING RUN....im thankful everyday that no freak thing happened running from him and wiped out at like 145..think of it as you got lucky that that truck stopped you...SH*T DEF could have gotten only worse...as far as those miniscual fines....pay em...get on the right line of the law and stay there...and for the record I STILL HAVE my bike and my license....I had 5pts as well. SO don't let the cops get you down on riding, if riding is your passion as it is mine

probably saw u slow rapidly causing him to turn around or maybe he saw you didnt have the plate light

if the plate light isnt on your plate isnt visible according to the law ( after dark that is )

well thats what i was getting at. paying for it with my taxes is 110% ok with me i have no problems whatsoever...what i have a problem is paying for it with my taxes...and then having to pay more just to defend myself.

You should just pay it and be glad you didn't get ticketed for speeding too. Why'd you think you hadn't done anything you could get ticketed for? Cops can do a U turn anywhere anytime they want

Quit your *****ing about it, you admitted to doing wrong so man up and pay what you owe and be thankful he didn't crack down even harder on you. And sell some stuff and fix up the bike or park it till you can, blow outs are no fun when you only have two wheels to begin with.

Show us a pic of your bike and we'll give you an opinion on your plate position.

Dang man. Hate to say it, but it is people like you that make cops watch us riders. I mean, your totally not taking care of your bike. Of everything you put though the stupid comment is that (elapsed 30 minutes from when I started because a drunk/high guy just plowed into my neighbors car) you have really bad tires and you gun it. What the hell are you thinking? Because they are bald does not make them into racing slicks, it makes them about to blow.

Get smart, or sell the bike. Too many people die man. I can understand being low on money, but sell some stuff on craigslist or just find a better job. Sounds like flaming, but I'm seriously just trying to look out for ya.

Re-reading this...I have to ask, do you have your endorsement or just a permit? I'm a strong believer that if you get any type of infraction while on permits, you should lose your permit for 1 year.
