if it was adam, it DID have some damage prior.. but i am not sure on the extent that it did.

Either way, sorry for your lose on that sub and i hope it gets taken care of.

Then I looked at the pic before I started searching....and what do you know?

Well the only thing that was wrong with it was just a small bump at the top. There wasn't any pieces missing or anything.

deal was, my amp for his XXX and some cash. went back and forth on the cash side and settled for a decent amount less than i was wanting to thinking it would be a nice looking sub and everything... I don't want to start shit on here or anything, i just wish i was informed about the damage so i could have either stayed firm on the cash side of things or just plain turned it down... I got rid of my Brand New, In Box MX15 so i could get an amp to run this thing... the coils both read 2.3ohm so it seems to atleast be functionaly and everything but.... Any grill ideas or something that will hide the damage but not get smacked by the cone...?

Well, now i am pissed! He knew about the damage but decided not to say anything. The amp i traded costs about $850 new (TA92001) and i got $100 and a busted *** sub. I could really care less how much HE paid for it, i can't blame him for getting a NASTY fukkin deal, but i should have been informed of the damage. I would not have done the trade had i known it looked like this. Worst part, he doesn't seem like he cares or plans to make it any better....
