well i dont want to spend alot of $$ on an alt so im def going to get a 0gauge wire and a 2nd battery between $130 and less. so if any of you good batts that can take abuse let me know. if the voltage still drops after that ill think about the big 3.

in the very least get another battery and 0 ga wire and make sure to ground both batts with the 0 gauge.........nobody here is trying to steer your wrong man, only trying to help you from 1. frying your amp 2. starting an electrical fire in your car or 3. both.

and if you do start a fire, video tape it for us and kiss your car bye-bye because once the insurance man sees how the fire started....no monies for joo

yeah man im only running 1500 watts + a 200x2 component amp and im using 0 gauge

haha i have 700rms by itself and i use 0ga. the only bad out come from buying and running 0ga. is a couple of bucks but like everyone said those couple of bucks are way better to spend that the thousands of dollars you will spend on a new car.
