good luck with future comps and let us know how they go.... and for your frequency try somewher around like 39-42, depending on your box, because I too made the same mistake with frequencies and went from a 137 to a 140. something so good luck!

considering its your first show, you don't have alot of power going to that sub, and you don't know your peak frequency, you did fine. I think the first time I was miced I did like 135.5db with 2 12's then switch to one and did 136.5db. It is very much a science and takes alot of hard work. Trunk cars are hard to get loud too. much harder than open cabin vehicles. Congrats on the trophy, if you ever need help, the whole forum is here for ya. With that sub you can get into the 140's, just need some tweeking

ya man u needed to do that clinic u would have most likey won i think it should have been 141.x with that set up. but for that u used it got u third that pretty cool stuff. wait till next time u will see the 141.xdb, but it dose sound like compition is week there. wish it was like that here ppl like tommyk make ppl sweat bullets here. guys crazy loud with the 10"dd

get a linedriver if possible. I'm not sure, but I think that Headunit is 2V preouts so your amp is working hard to get all its power out. The harder it works, the more chance your sub amp will pop your inline fuse. so up the preout voltage so you can have cleaner power and not make the amp work as hard. It helps

it has 4v preouts which ain't bad. there's more important things to get than the linedriver in your case. But I'd get one if you plan on being a serious competitor
