next time just get really close to the cop and dump your music, so it will be closer then 50ft or 30ft or w/e the law is.

do you guys think I can beat this ticket in court or don't even try it?I don't know how much I will have to pay or if it will go on my records...Anybody has any idea?

ive beat at least 3 in FL now i just pay em since its a non moving violation 87.50 fee no points, non criminal have a good day.

i went to court and changed my plea to no contest judge dismisses them everytime

nowadays, it would cost me more to miss 3-4 hrs of work than to pay the ticket so i just pay it fl is 87.50 fee for nonmoving violations, no points so who cares 87 bucks, i did have an ******* sheriff give me a 2nd ticket right after i pulled away bumping once that sucked those 2 got dismissed i threatened harassment

over here they give you a **** summons no amount on ticket and make you go to court...on the summons it asks is you plea guilty or not guilty. then when you plea not guilty they will send you another court date. if you don't hear from them by 30 days the original court date on summons still stands, which for me it's on Sept 15, 2008. So they make you go to court here regardless....

i know nothing of ny but fl has some of the cheapest tickets in the country imo:laugh: thats why i really dont care. i see ppl getting 500 dollar tickets on here and i just cant imagine i can do 100 in a 45 contruction zone (no i would not do this) and get a 350 dollar ticket

Pretty useless fighting it. The cop can say he was X feet away and heard you. Cops will always show up to court if people try to fight their ticket because that's easy hours/$ by attending court. Judge usually sides with the officer. Good luck.

Take it you've never gotten a citation before? At least here in Indy, if you fight and LOSE, you can get upwards of 1k extra added onto the ticket. No shit, so you better have a better excuse than saying the cop and judge are stupid because loud is subjective and he didn't have a meter. The fact of the matter is, if someone else can hear your stereo for long enough for it to upset them, it's too loud to be playing it around other people.

I don't know if you are trying to blow smoke up this kids *** or what. I have never heard of a 1000 some dollars being added to his ticket for a noise ticket of any sort. I have also had my fair share of them in my day when I was young. So unless the system has changed that much in a very few short years or Indy is just fugged pack with assholes, I can't see that happening.

Usually cort costs are 70 and under, depending where you live.

I may be wrong, but that is just hard to believe.
