Got 5/8 mdf instead of 3/4

So I made the cuts for my box and when I mocked everything up it didn't quite fit right. Turns out they put 5/8 mdf on the shelf spot for 3/4 so my left and right pieces are alittle too short which makes the top and bottom pieces about 4/16th too wide. Would you guys suggest just recutting the left/right pieces longer to match the top/bottom or trim down the top/bottom to match the left/right? I have enough extra wood to recut the left/right pieces. My internal volume will just be alittle bit higher than planned.

i guess if u can double up some of it., definitely front and use bracing inside box to support weaker wood.. if u doing ported box remember bigger box tunes lower so will need to subtract some port length if u have enough wood after doubling u can cut a frame type piece to go from front to back and let bracing help make box smaller just subtract bracing from cf for tuning..

I was definitely planning on soaking the front piece with wood hardener and if I have any left over hit the other areas. I guess now I'll lookin into bracing to soak up some of that extra space. I think I'll end up being at 34hz instead of my original plan of 35.

yeah that ain't bad.. but i would do double baffle.. what sub is it?

So ill just double baffle the front from the inside which should soak up some of the extra space. I think ill be ok with that and woodhardener on the entire box. When i was in japan all we had was 1/2 mdf and i had 2 15 hds315 and i double baffled the front and used woodhardener and hit 146 on music with 2200 rms so i think ill be ok for a daily box.
