Good sub in an enclosure that's 2.5 cu. ft. @ 38 hz

What's a good sub that would work good in an enclosure that's 2.5 ft^3 tuned to 38 hz? I was planning on doing an AQ SDC2.5 12 but they are unavailable on the site and I can't find any in the classifieds so I'm back to the drawing board.

Not it is NOT the same buildhouse. This is not the equivalent. It has the same basket. That's it... Compare magnet weight + overall weight of this sub versus the DD9500, AQ HDC3, AB HD, and of course the Konaki. You can visibly tell the magnet is much smaller and all the others have a total weight of 50-60+ LBS while the Cadence comes in at 35. The basket and 3" coil are the only similarities they share...

Read the full description of that sub and it looks promising. Based on the parts they used alone, 120 bucks is a STEAL. It also appears the builder is quite knowledgeable. I would look into that sub. You said your price was under 200 and has to be D4. I think that's your ticket...

yes the builder is patrick he owns the trademark to adire as he was the exclusive repair man for tc and adire iirc

hd uses a 300oz magnet different magnet

406oz for the 9500

and hdc uses 340oz magnet

cadence uses a 270oz magnet

cadence uses a single coil for higher efficiency

their are of course little differences but their all the same buildhouse and amazing quality

zrs is in between the 2 and for 179 dollars is a steal, so is the tc sound hybrid. those are the 2 id get if i was u

its good on par with aq 2.5 and the cadence zrs-600 all same build house. for the price that custom sub is hard to beat for 165 shipped brand new

Yeah, I'd just like something with warranty and what not though. I was thinking of a DD 2512 off an AQ 1200d

comes with a 1 year warranty, yea dd is good but let me tell u warranties only cover if it was defective, burnt coils, spiders etc all the things that happen to subs are not covered very rarely do i see coverage, then u need to have equipment installed by certified installers of the company etc.

Warranty is the industry standard 1 year type against defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty NEVER covers abuse which can show up as a burned or charred tinsel lead, voice coil or even the awesome crushed former 'defect'. Shipping is your responsibility. If your sub does indeed have a defect return it in it's original packing and we'll repair or replace your sub. We'll pick up the tab to send it to you as well.

aq 1200 at 2 ohm, why dont u run the custom sub at 1 ohm and put the full 1200rms at it. that would be really nice.
