Good set of 6.5 comps >$140

Only Cadence comps Id run are the CVL's with the aluminum cone mid. Those run $400+. If you can spare another $25 get the SC8365's. If you cant get the SC6500's. There are reviews out there that compare the SC6500's to some $3-$400 component sets and they keep up in every aspect. Great midbass in a sealed and deadened door. The tweeters are very detailed, but not bright or harsh. And thats passive.

Those eclipse's are nice but if you want to save some money and still get pretty nice components, get the hifonics ZXi6.5C's. They do 30-100 watts rms, 500 watts peak for the set. Instead of spending $120-$170 for one set on those eclipses, you can get two sets of these hifonics for cheaper than $120 and still get great sound, especially since your using an amp.

Not even close to the SQ of the Eclipse. Those Hifonics dont compare to any $3-$400 components where as the Eclipse do.

Eclipse SC6500 does look sweet.
Mid is my avatar. The midbass is absolutely nuts in a sealed and deadened door. Its so good I contemplated selling my subs and not running any subwoofer. Thats passive at that. Imagine what they could do active. The cones on them are semi-transparent as well. Whens the last time you saw a par of mids with double sewn tinsel leads?

lol the hifonics are only $55 bro for a set, not $120 like the eclipses. For half the price im willing to sacrifice a small amount of sq.

Its not a small amount. Its a huge sacrifice. Those Hifonics are garbage. Anything Hifonics has touched since Maxxsonics bought them out is garbage except some of the MB Quart amps.

^^^ I would have to disagree but w.e I've never listened to the eclipses. I remember I helped install 2 sets of hifonics in my friends comaro and it sounds pretty good for running them off stock power. They get pretty high.

i have the CVLs on an alpine pdx-5 and the midbass is not much better than a stock pair of speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif however, the highs are nice and detailed
