okay....220aH on tap (2 xs d3100's), a240amp alty, and an adassa warlord (schaaweeet).....figuring about 300 amps of current off the batteries to the amp should work fine. the batts will still get a decent charge off the alty without being drain too quickly. Plus I plan on letting the batts charge over night once a week so ish. lets say 300amps x 12.8v = 3840w before typical ineficiencies.

so that that being said I have a 1 ohm nominl load (.8ohm dcr). I plan to measure it with the reactive load, gradually turning it up.... the wire from the amp to the sub is 8awg (1 pos 1 neg). Assuming a 1 ohm nominal load, and the current limits of 8 awg wire......lets say 60amps x 75volts will do put around 4500w....throw in imp rise (which isnt terrible in mine)... and hopfully I'll bein the 3.5kw or more range.

i know without a clamp meter it'll be impossible to know what the real current draw or output is....but with the given variables I should be safe tuning it around these rough guidelines right?
