Good daily workout tips?

Agreed. I'm tryin to drop the belly. Been doing LOTS of bike riding and general calisthenics, push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks etc. Lots of cardio basically! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
BTW, here's the bike I've been rockin, no offroad yet, dunno if my knees can handle THAT much impact!

nice touring bike lol. I liked using the shifters on the down tube, old school.

oh the good days

so..general opinion is..

more pushups. more weight, less reps, and take a day break inbetween work outs. pushups inbetween machines at the gym. keep on the olyptical to lose the belly. protien shakes after workouts.

anything else?

Thanks! I just threw some sertas puncture resistant tires on it, those were the originals in that pic, and a brooks leather seat. Hard as a SOB now, but one day.....it'll be comfy as hell! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Bikes old as hell, june 15th 1978 is the manufacture date. I love the vintage look of it, and it rides **** nice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Stupid question, I assume your doing different muscle groups on different days right? For the most part that is....

if you want to get bigger then your going to need to eat more. You can't take in less and expect for your body to get bigger.

That being said, make sure you work on your entire body. You can't spot certain areas, and having muscles that are stronger then others can lead to injury (it's happened to me).

Make sure you work your back, shoulders and abs. And make sure you take in a LOT of protein.

Rest-wise, try different things out at first. Your body may need less time, it may need more. Everyone is different, so you can take suggestions, but you have to know what YOU can handle.

Also, remember that not everyone is built to look a certain way. You may plateau or you may not get the results you were looking for. That will just be a surprise when some idiot thinks your weak and you really can kick his ***.

But work everything. I'd suggest bulking first (less cardio) then transition into more of a cutting phase (more cardio) so that you start to lose some of the fat you gained when you were bulking up your muscles. Make sure you know your base metabolism, so when you achieve what you want, you know how much you need to eat to keep your results.

I did not know this. Learn something new every day! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That sucks about the drivers...seems to be that way everywhere, although I'd imagine jersey/nyc is pretty bad. Just moved out to the sticks, so riding around here is nice...plenty of small hills to make things interesting. Barring an injury to the knees the plan is to keep on it. Got plenty of riding time now that I've been laid off, in between finding a new job that is! What did you use to ride?
