well it takes work,

when I was doing triathlons, and road racing I kept my weight at 145.

now that im going in to the coast guard, iv built up my weight and strength, I kept my lanky look, but put on about 20 pounds of muscle over a long period of time.

i just want to fill out. ive always been decently built, but didnt show unless i was flexin..then people would be like ****..it didnt look like you had that much muscle. but if i aint flexing, i look somewhat skrawny.

you will NOT be able to spot increase muscle mass. the proportions you have are likely the proportions youll always have. (unless you waste 10 years ignoring your bodys real muscle groups)

in 4 months you could maybe put on 10-15lbs of lean mass.

simple get stronger, eat alot, rest, eat more

SQUAT, dead, bench - and in that order

20-25cals per lb

1.5-2grams protein per lb

as pointed out diet is very important, and as often as beginners forget this it seems experienced people forget the importance of getting stronger. if youve got both keyed in theres no way your staying the same size.

Push up your body with the tip of your feet, any time you're just standing around, it'll help develop your calve muscles. (I forget what the heck you all that.) Ride a bike, surprisingly that's been my best 'work-out'. But, then again, I do BMX style riding, which requires a lot of force, and body movement. A simple 20-24" cruiser (without changeable speeds) seems to be the best for the legs.

Agreed. I'm tryin to drop the belly. Been doing LOTS of bike riding and general calisthenics, push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks etc. Lots of cardio basically! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

BTW, here's the bike I've been rockin, no offroad yet, dunno if my knees can handle THAT much impact!

Edit: I see your not so much looking to lose weight, instead build some muscle. The cardio is still important..helps ya get nice and cut! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
