Don't lift everyday, rest is imperative. As for getting big, your diet is what matters the most.
probably the best advice youll get in this thread

until you hit a plateau where your not gaining any weight or getting any stronger thats where supplementation comes into play...until then you can get away with just some protein powder and a multi

my weight has been pretty constant for years, prob from sophomore year in high school. ive been 160-170lbs all while ive been playing sports. like 168 during swimming, 160 being during soccer after sweat loss

flax is more pure
how is it more pure if the omega 3 fatty acids are what you are basically after? you can get it from fish or soy as a natural food source as well as flax seeds. not disagreeing, just asking.

yeah, eat every 3 hours so you feed the muscle and starve the fat
depends if it's the cheap stuff or not
not exactly true. eat the proper amount of calories needed to either gain, maintain, or lose the weight. as for eating every 3 hours, you want to get on a normal eating schedule where you dont spread out your calorie intake. in other words, dont splurge on three meals, spread the meals out over an even period of time and condition your body to know when it is going to g=be recieving calories. if your body goes extended periods without calories, it will take all the calories you give it and store them for later, as fat, which is harder to burn than raw calories. 5-6 meals a day is way better than the "normal" 3 meals a day. also try to make the meals close in caloric intake. if you dont want to get that involved, its not a huge deal, since you are trying to bulk up, you shouldnt need to monitor your calories as closely as if you were trying to lose. but be aware, when you start eating more frequently you often eat less naturally, so you are going to want to watch your calories for the irst week or so to make sure you are getting enough calories and protein to gain //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

didnt you say you had some good muscle....
im 6'2" and 220lbs and i still dont find myself to be overly muscular
i have ok muscle. im not built, or ripped. i have a decent amount. if someone has something they need picked up/moved etc..i can do t. bad example, but its all i got really.

i just want a nicer tone i guess is the best way to say it.

this is good stuff.

i really cant eat ALL the time. ill eat my breakfast (extremely light) at around 7:45, have my pb&j sandwich around 11-11:30 (if i have an energy drink that day, this will be the time i drink it [full throttle])..have a snack when i get home(usually cook up some hotdogs)..a few hotdogs or somehting, then dinner. whatever dad makes. soup, stew, hamburgers, salad, whatever he decides to make. he cooks with one of those george foreman grills, so everything we usually have for dinner isnt sopping in grease or anything like that. but from 11 to when i get home..usually anywhere from 2-3:30..i usually have a headache from not eating.
