Good daily workout tips?

i usually do them all everyday. i do a decent amount of weight on the machines, but im ususally never sore the next day.
work out harder, and less frequently. if you are looking to bulk up, there should be a bit of pain involved. just a bit, not alot. the way muscle builds is by damaging and repairing itself. when something in the body repairs itself, the body naturally re-inforces that part of the body. so when you work out, you are wanting to tear the muscles a bit, hence the pain, and then you want to give those muscles about 2-3 days of rest to be repaired. so switch up the routine a bit, maybe do a different part of the body on different days, or just go mon wed fri, or whatever schedule you want to do. or possibly even do weight training mon wed fri and do cardio tues thurs.

but remember not to over do it. more pain does not mean more gooder or faster bulking up. and also, up your protein and calcium intake as much as possible. calcum will help speed up your metabolism and allows your body to absorb more vitamins so you will benefit more from what you eat, and also can expend the calories faster. protein is the building block of muscle, and also aids in digestion and can also speed the metabolism. last time i was on a diet i was drinking a gallon of milk every 2-3 days. and also soy milk is very good for you, lots of calcium and also has your omega 3 fatty acids.

on my bulk diet i was eatin 2500-3000 calories a day, was quite the work but got results in a month or so, still wish my harddrive didn't crash or i'd still have the ripped pics from that time

good info

whats ur weights and height right now?
165-170lbs, 19, 6'1

bodybuilding.com is BS. don't go there. INSANE prices for supplements, and the people there are know-it-alls who run their mouth too much.

protein, protein, protein. 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight per day.

180lb individual will require ~270g of protein a day while building muscle.

i would get 2/3rds of that from food - the other 1/3rd from protein shakes.
