good car battery for my system

i have a 2003 honda accord and i just realized after getting it serviced that i definitely am going to need a new battery with some new equipment i'm putting in, and i was wondering what you guys would reccommend.

My system right now includes:

JL 450/4

JL a1400

polk SR6500(front)

polk MMC6500(back)

JL 10w6v2

audiocontrol LC7

im thinking the draw is around 1300 watts, and its killing the battery in my acccord. I was thinking something like an optima yellow top or a Stinger(though i have no idea what stinger would work in my honda)

Its not so much the battery you should worry about getting first. A yellow top would be a wise move but you need an alternator that can crank out more amperage to keep that battery charged.

i've actually been going through a fair number of batteries the past few years, so would you think that upgrading the alternator would help my battery life?

Yes it definatly would. Your battery can only give power when it is needed through out your car. But if your alternator can't charge the battery as fast as the energy is being depleated then your going to keep having the same problems over and over again.
