The transmissions in DSMs don't ****. Are there flukes? Sure. Are there BAD REBUILDS? Sure. But I know bunches of those cars, in the 10s, with nothing but a GOOD rebuild, and a heat exchanger.Might as well get a new wrench set, because you're going to be very familiar with them by the time you sell that thing. You shouldn't have to finesse a ****** to get it to last.... they should be built to take punishment. I beat the hell out of my mustang and accord trannys and they never gave me a hint of a problem. And you're saying gods chariot here cant stand a few drops? Its no secret that the trannys in DSMs ****. Dont try and deny it, or place the blame somewhere else. Its just another pitfall.

Whoa. Let's not go there. But, you, are indeed, a ****ing moron. I'm not saying imports > american, or the opposite, but your statement is a loaded one.Buy an american car they actually last. and u can build up a motor and it won't sound like a wind up toy haha.
