I'll be running a Sundown 1500d and a SAX 125.2. All 0awg wire. I wannt ONE battery under the hood of my 04 Silverado. I believe my stock alt is either a 105 or a 140. If I have too much voltage drop I'll eventualy get a HO alt. What is a good battery that I can run under the hood and wont break the bank? Was looking at a Kinetik HC1800 but dont know if it will fit under my hood. Opinions?

^Disagree...go with the batt first...cheaper.

I've got an '08 Silvy that has space for two batts under the hood so I have 2 Kinetik HC 2000's and my stock 145A alt. I only have 1,000W RMS max right now but for future upgrades it will be plenty! Adding the 2nd eliminated ALL alternator whine and no more dimming lights at full tilt.

Well, I have a felling my battery just took a dump on me, thats why I'm asking. I went to leave this morning and my truck was completely dead. Last time this happened, I had dead cells. I brought it to Napa for them to charge it. I'll see what they say when I go to pick it up. Its a Duralst Gold. If its dead, then I might as well get something I'll need later on.
