06 chevy silverado?

I have an '08 so I don't have the red box from earlier models, although I think that is merely a junction box if I recall my '99. I replaced all the stock wires with Knu 0/1 gauge when I performed my Big 3 on my '08. And I just added another Kinetik HC 2000 under the hood...so more 0/1 gauge! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'll try to snap some pictures this weekend and post them. Some say you can simply supplement the OEM wiring when doing the Big 3 but I felt it was much easier simply to replace it all.

dont worry about the junction box. Go straight from the alty to the battery. You may want to fuse the new run if you are worried about it. I didnt fuse mine.
ok, did you just leave the junction box there? and did you replace the othe cables? do i do both of the grounds coming off the battery with my 2/0 cable?do you know a good way to crimp the lugs because i cant find a crimper around here big enough?

1) leave the junction box alone

2) leave the stock wiring alone

3)big 3 only requires one new ground coming off of the battery

4) hammer, vice grips, table vise, the list goes on

5) search, every single question you have asked in this thread probably has 50 other threads just like it.

I went straight to the alt with a fuse. You can see the wire in the left of this pic. I left all stock wiring in place. Used all Knu KLMX wire. I used a hammer to crimp mine and it worked perfectly. Then I soldered the ends of the wires.
