good amp for two dual 4 ohm L5s

I have two 15 inch dual 4 ohm L5s right now. I have two audiobahn a8000t amps that are rated at 800 RMS. However one is messed up and currently being worked on. I was considering selling these 2 amps and getting another better amp.

I almost traded a friend of mine his memphis 1000d for 1 of my audiobahns but we couldn't get the 1000d to hold a 1 ohm load. I will be buying the amp off of ebay because i dont have just a whole lot to spend. So make some recommendations.

Two 15 inch dual 4 ohm L5s

each in a 4 cu ft sealed box

I was looking at the kicker amps so it would match but they seem pretty expensive for the amount of watts they put out.

I'm going for SPL but dont want it to sound like crap.

is POWER ACOUSTIK a good brand? Haven't heard alot about them...

Any other amp recommendations?

good brand nah, but they are decent for the money. make sure your careful with the gain knob on those L5s.

what about hifonics amps? haven't heard a whole lot about those either...are they good?

I was looking at a hifonics BX1605D. 1600 RMS x 1 at 1 ohm.

i run a bx1605d on my l5's @ 1ohm daily.. but i can smell them when i crank it up
