good amp for new subs?

I recently purchased two Diamond D310D4.2 subs with 400RMS each and am lookin to upgrade from my 600W kicker JH600 to a 1000W amp. Budget is pretty crappy like 250 to 300 cuz I overspent big time on bling like a genius. Right now the Kicker amp is doin good but I KNOW they can do better.

you could pick up an aq 1200 and be easy with the gains. they are 250 new from audioque and are around on the forums quite a bit if you dont mind buying used.
