Golfers needed.. Question on buying new clubs...

My set-up

Driver : Titleist 907D1 with Mitsubishi stiff shaft

3 Wood : Titleist 906F2 with Proforce V2

2 Hybrid : Bridgestone J36 Adilia "By You" shaft

4 Hybrid : Taylormade Rescue Mid (It's old and I love it)

Irons : Ping I3 Oversize Red Dots

Wedges : 50 Titleist Vokey Design and 56 Vokey Spin Milled

Putters : Scotty Cameron Studio Design 2.5, SeeMore FGP being used right now...(Payne Stuart's putter he won the 99 US Open with, Zach Johnson also uses it along with Briney Baird and other Tour Pros), and Ping Pal

I'm currently satisified with all my clubs and don't plan on trading any of them in for a while.

Rockbottomgolf.com is really great. I ordered from them all the time and they have shipment. I would suggest you go to a demo day and see if you like the clubs. I do suggest you invest in a putter that you will like because that clubs is the most often.

and nick.. you like the ft-3? when i was in the store it didnt catch my eye amongst all the new ft-5, and nike stuff. The other one i could get ( cuz i am still a little hesitant about the ft-3 ), was the cleaveland hi bore xls

i think the guy knew i was a lil lost on what is new or old, and he pawned off the ft-3 just to get it out the store:crap:

I tried drivers that are all titanium and also composite but I ended up with the all titanium driver. A driver would be the second major purchase because it will setup your shots for that hole. If you are not in the fairway or have any chance at the green you will not score good on that hole. My driver was only $130.00 but the retail more than $450.00. I buy alot of my clubs at closeout. Don't buy into the new technology hype as long as you got clubs from three years ago you are good to go.

I have an FT-i and I like it.
Though currently I'm hitting it a tad too high so I'm trying to work that out. Might try a different shaft in it first.
The Accuflex Creation 65 is really cheap on Ebay. It is very stout with a high kickpoint. If your swing speed is under 105 mph, I would suggest you get a regular in that shaft.

One of our regulars is supposed to bring in the new Graffaloy prolaunch axis red for me to try out. Hopefully it helps keep my driver under control.
