Golfers needed.. Question on buying new clubs...

how do those clubs i mentioned look? getting to be crunch time i think..

And there might be a change of plans .. Since hes just starting out and uses my clubs anyways, he offered me 500 for everything with the bag.. I just might take it considering the links i posted ( and NB ) are having some great sales now, so that might be my possible list lol, oh well i guess we both come out ahead on this one..

Especially wondering about the wedge, irons and driver.. How are they?

adams irons all the way. you get hybrids with them and those are unreal... basically you hit the ball well with the adams a3 os's as long as you make a swing somewhere in the general area of the ball... as far as a driver, i hit a ping rapture. friggin sweet. but id goto rockbottomgolf.com get the ping FT

idk if i would like the hybrids.. They just seem weird to me i guess.. So used to your basic "irons" ..

So how does a hybrid 3 iron, differ from a basic 3 iron

Hybrid is easier to hit and usually gives you more distance than a regular iron.

Also, they are easier to hit out of tough lies like thick rough.

is that something you keep in the bag, or is it more for when your just learning as a " crutch"

I have not heard much about the adams stuff but alot of people really say they have some good stuff..

And would you want a hybrid for a while or just until you get better

Definitely something you keep in the bag. You replace the hard to hit irons (3 and 4 in most cases) and get hybrids instead.

Golfers of all skill levels like hybrids. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just wanted to say since I posted in here...........and said I was going that day of the post, I ended up shooting a 46. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I ****! Maybe I should get some better clubs, lol!

I did hit an Eagle though.........which is even more sad that my score was a 46, lawl!

good compared to me.. still learning but kind of inconsistent off the tee.. thats my big issue.. Partially since i am self taught so i probably screwed myself for good now that im an old ( er) dog , it may not be as easy as starting from scratch, But i think i might take a months worth of lessons , just to ensure proper footing, stance, swing etc... I ( on average ) am shooting low 90's, alot of which is saved from descent chips and putting.. Dont know why but those come pretty easy , even when im right on par with my buddy who has been golfing for 10 years..

but id say 1 out of 5 drives i lose a ball.. for good:rolleyes:

Shit, I take a cart even for 9 holes.

I'm a lazy SOB.

I carried other people's clubs for 10 years, I'll be damned if I'm gonna carry my own shit.

Id drive a golf cart to the shitter at night if I could fit it down my hallways. Im just saying, 9 holes. That extra 2 hours of walking around casually is what really separates the men from the boys. Sure, the pro's make it look easy, but it can be grueling. And then there's that walk back to your car in the parking lot, god. Fuck that, Im going back to TigerWoods2006 for xbox. But then there's finger fatigue from working the controller, which affects my ability to call for food delivery.
He knows Im just messing with him.

adam's irons are good choice.or go full adam's set then build from there i would say. spend the money on what he wants to upgrade later on.
