going from 2 15s ported to 2 18s sealed?

i have 3000 rms on my 15 l7s and want to upgrade. my 15s are ported but i don't have enough room to port the 18s but all i've read about 18 has been ported. how do some 18" subs do in sealed boxes?

i will most like go with fi q's since they're cheap. or i can but some BL or BTl motors, but how much are recones for those?

think it will be louder? cone are will go down. might get some Bl, BTL,MT motors and just recone them. that seems like the cheepest way to go
