Go ported or sealed with MB Quart Sub

Hey guys im looking for some input on how I should enclose my new 12" MB Quart PWE 304 sub. The website recommends a .95cu feet sealed enclosure. But since I only have 1 sub and only 500rms going to it (Alpine MRD-M500) will it be loud enough?

I mean I want good clean tight responsive bass. I mostly listen to fast paced punk music. What enclosure do I want for fast/heavy rock music?

I have no where to go to try different enclsures out. I simply need to find out what I want before hearing it out. I only have enough $$$ to do this once so any input would be appreciated.

hey man i mostly listen to punk and ska and i have a ported box tuned to 32 hz and it sounds awsome. my 12's never miss a beat and they never sound muddy. i say go ported tuned between 30 and 35 hz and use the recomended volume that mb quart gives u. good luck
