Glue on solder points..

I know it sounds crazy but some subs have glue over the solder points that connect the tinsel leads to the voice coil. Anyone know of any good glue brands that would work? Would gorilla glue work? I have used gorilla glue on spiders and subwoofer surrounds that I have dropped in baskets before. Any help is appreciated thanks.

That's CA glue and you can get it from Parts Express or anywhere that sells speaker repair parts.

Please don't use gorilla glue it won't hold up to abuse. If you don't use ca glue use some loctite 5 min epoxy at least. Noticed last night my zv4 also has glue all over the tinsels.

They don't sell super-glue in KY??? F*ck me, you guys are backwards.

Seriously, though CA glue is best because it is rigid and will prevent the lead from flexing and breaking AND it can be dissolved with acetone if you ever need to get it off for some reason.

Lmao I'm sure they do it's just I believe they are out, I found this epoxy resin ima try it says it bonds auto parts lmao hopefully this will work

the glue will not connect the points it just holds it together. Things get soldered first then glued over
