the ribbed corners is what is patent. Notice on the Hifonics, it is not used. IF you plan to build these, or have them built, I'd suggest not using the ribbed surround. It would throw up red flags asap back here at the plant. Being in Asia, I'm sure you can find the surround either way. I'd just suggest not for possible, legal actions.

A plant will do about anything you want, but YOU will be the one held responsible.

Can you explain alignment to me .

like i said i am learning . i am not shy to say i am new in designing sub woofer also

and as polecat had pointed out -

i am also looking over data and sources i can find to adjust the Ribbed design so i do not violet anyone when i do so ..

but i of cos would leave my option open till i can find more info .

I did heard something about it and when i check i was told that the design is patent on the Sewing of the rim .

and the ribbed design which is on the sub now is different .. and in visual fact is that it do look close

but is is a different design giving different outcome .

i am not debating that is a sure run .

and the comment from polecat is very much worth my attention and investgate into it seriously

after all my agenda is to have fun and profit

Ya you bet. Ya his subs are pretty badass, I mean nothing EYE OPENING in performance, but for the price...can't be beat.

I heard one 10 did a 161.1 legal on the new TL.
