Okay guys so I just started the install on our 'new'(not really a 1992 model but new to us) car.. I have done all the wiring for the head unit + crossovers in the front. I have dynamated the entire front doors, along with partial of the trunk. I was able to mount the tweeters in the dash and cover it with grill cloth...Installed the mids in the doors using plexi-rings w/ dynamat...I think it looks amazing. I cant wait to finish dynamating the trunk so I can wire everything up. I still need to run th RCa's and 9 wire to the rear on 1 side and the long power run on the other. I still need to do the big 3, and mount the amps either on the back seats, or under-neath where the spare tire sits.(I might make a wood panel for them to sit on). SLX's being powered by my old kicker amp, and 2 type S's powered by the PDX 1.600.
Here are a couple early pics:
Picture of the trunk partially dynamated:
Doing some wiring up front:
The front right tweeter mounted with grill cloth: I think this looks SEXAY:
Right front door panel covered in grill cloth:
rainbow speaker mounted in the door:
me scoping out the size of the ring... had to sand it down:
left door almost done... I went and did the inside as well... man this shit took FOREVER. Spray glue is CRAZY sticky:
Inside the door early on:
Dynamat inside the hole where the tweeter was mounted:
What ya guys think?? I think this is going to be one hell of a setup.
