Shit dude, you can buy 92-95 civic for well under a grand, and they are cake to work on, have power steering and windows and disk brakes. And the parts for them are so cheap you can still eat lunch lol

The popping noise could be a bad CV joint. Tell her between that and the shifter prob, her $1200 car could cost her $2000 very quickly. She could get a lot more for her money.

I got my BC for free...I had to spend $1,300 in repairs.

I think that is a $300-400 car...I wouldn't spend $1,300 on it.

For comparison, I bought this for 2200. She can do better than that.
