am a mod.
so im going to have an SQ install. wich inclueds the strict wire stuff - like clean, strong, and shielded connections, ect ect.
last night, i messed around with that little fuseblock i bought from http://www.allelectronics.com (where i got mad split loom and heatshrink for CHEAP as well) and i grinded the PCB so the copper trace was split in half, so i got 5 channels for my fused remote wire distrobution block, and 7 channels for my fused accessory power distrobution block. uses 12 individual ATC blade fuses, and has 6 10 awg inputs and one 10+ awg quick connect for the rem side. i cant wait to use this baby.
so i got my bumper on, my fender on, and the new clear marker lights. i mounted my fuse, i did the alt and batt re-grounds (gotta remove the tire to acess the alternator +, so ill wait on that one till this week. i shielded all the engine 0awg with split loom, and periodocially put heatshrink wrap around it, beginning, middle, and ends. i crimped my 0awg terminals with a 5lb hammer, vice, and channel lock pliers. grinded the paint off the mounting locations (upper front strut mounts) and i did a few other misc things today. all-in-all lots of small things that needed to be done.
now im gonna go put the sideskirts on, and remove 2 sets of 16 foot RCA's i dont need
then ill find somthing else to do - or call it a day until friday.
and it is about 95 degrees here - hot as **** - i was leaking like a freakin sprinkler the whole tiem, and my shirt is soaked with sweat
and as you all well know - i dont post a thread like this without pics - so without further adoo - here they are
the fuseblock: before
the fuseblock: after
