Getting sick of no help, please give insight

Ive asked on other forums and even here i think. People say i could do better, but dont really help me out, or tell me what i need to look for and such. And i am appreciative in any help i can get, no matter how helpful it is.

Honestly a couple of the setups people posted are pretty good. Everyone is going to say you can do better because they are nut huggin on a different brand.

on your budget you can get an all-powerbass system that will sound pretty good, get pretty loud (front stage and substage) and not break the bank. as far as HU goes, the JVC I got is on closeout from crutchfield for 130 and it is one of the best sounding decks I've ever used (and I've used many MANy decks)

I'd say the HU is more important personally
You can have the best signal in the world, but if your speakers **** or are installed/mounted wrong, it will sound like crap. Most decent signal sources will at least give reasonable performance. I see alot more variance in performance between qualities of speakers than I do source units. I feel confident saying most experts agree that the actual device that creates the sound, the speakers, hold more potential to affect over all performance than do signal sources, signal processors, or amplifiers. If I was gonna skimp on my system, it would not be the speakers.

consider my system!!! i spent like 20 mins putting that together for you.. ima come have *** with your girlfriend and or mom if you don't. and you don't need any rear speakers as long as you have your front stage set up right with tweeters and mids firing in the correct directions... mostly the tweets.

At some point you realize you have to learn for yourself, or take a leap of faith with other people's experience and personal opinions. The problem you will find is much of this hobby is subjectively based. If you have very high expectations, the only solution is personal knowledge and experience.

800-1000 watts for subs, 100-400 watts for front stage depending on if you run an active setup or if you use external cross overs. you don't want too much or you will have to start upgrading your electrical system. which i'm sure is something you want to avoid if you are on a budget.
