Not to long ago I put a DC 275 in and it's been working like a charm with 1500 watts
Last night I put in four sa-8v2's and dropped ohms from 4ohms to 2ohms on my kx2500.1
Now the alt is getting pounded at idle but will keep up while driving.
I have the DC dual alt bracket for gmc and now it's time to put it in.
Has anyone in here already installed this bracket in a gmc or Chevy? Got and tips or helpful tricks?
I plan on doing this tomorrow. So any help would be cool. Thx
I had my factory alt tested and it was good.
Guess I will run both alts to front battery
Thought about running extra 4guage wire from factory alt to batt and keep the 1/0 gauge on the DC to batt
Guess I'll have to add a extra ground to DC alt when I move it to outside spot on bracket.
That's about all I can think of. Chime in it I missed something
I have the dual alt kit from DC so I should have everything I need in kit.
