I'm going to start building my box soon for my Diamond Audio D6 my question is do I have everything I need? I have, the plans, a 4 x 8 sheet of MDF, dry wall screws, wood glue, table saw, jig saw, silicone caulking for the air tight seal anything that you guys think I'm missing? Also I'm having trouble understanding these plans fully that someone made for me (This will be my first box build) so if anyone would like to contact me on aim to help me to understand my aim name is Pwayzjellyroll. Thanks guys. - Alex

Pm, whoever made the plans... thats your best bet. You need a run of wire to run through the box, or a terminal, thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

edit:

actually CALL DIAMOND. (when they are open) tell them what kinda box you want for that sub (ported, sealed). They should email you a diagram with all the cuts you need to make.
that works too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The best advice I can give you is to take your time and make sure that the box is FULLY sealed, no leaks at all... the more leaks you have, the less accuracy and quality of sound you will get.

Well I actually have a cut out sheet made by someone already for a ported box, but I'm not quite sure where all the pieces go I know it sounds noob I'm just a bit confused so I'll just have to get in contact with him.

Hey Dante, thanks for that little bit of added confidence. I'm definitely going to go buy some corner clamps seems like it will make things a bit easier. After your box was done how long did you let it cure for? I also thing your box came out quite well, I'm just waiting for the guy who designed my box to explain to me how it goes together because according to the directions and cut sheet their alot of port pieces for it so I'm a tad confused. But if by chance you think you could explain it better to me feel free to send me a PM. - Alex

So for my box designs there are three port pieces, two are of equal size and one is smaller, does anyone have an idea or can draw up a picture of which ones go where and how it should look from the top? Also the port is 2.25 inches wide.
