Getting new car - any suggestions?

well I'm going to be getting rid of my old car, and as much as I still love it, I am way more excited to be getting a new car.

What do you guys suggest... I'll be able to spend about $22,000 max but would love toactually go cheaper. Must be at least 6 cylinder car.... and I want a CAR, no trucks, SUV's... Also, I like big bodied cars, not really sporty 2 door cars.

The car can be new or used. What do you guys think I should be looking into with that budget and the things I want from a car?

I'd go with a used Mercedes, something 4 door. I'd check eBay for an idea on styles.

I haven't even looked any car dealer sites yet, but that is the car I wanted for a long time... I think it will be out of my budget tho

Nissans are pretty awesome, you can get some used Audi's cheap, and Jetta's are awesome too. But my favorite car is a Infiniti G35....

Nothin special really... probably just a regular sedan...

I do prefer driving standards over automatic... but even that doesn't matter for the new car. Trunk space is nice I guess.... fold down seats would help (since I've never owned a car with them lol), and maybe power windows and locks... but even that stuff won't make a difference of buying it or not, and the prices don't go up or down too far with those features I dont think... Don't need any special luxury features... really, I am not picky at all...

Check out 05 or 06 Toyota Camry's.

05s should be cheaper since 06 just came out but still 06s are pretty nice, and big. Reliable, and just around your price range too.

5pd Camry FTW, will last for ages and it's a decent sized import sedan. I like slightly older maximas too, like around 2000, great bang for the buck. Last forever.

agreed on older Maxima's.... I looked at 2 used ones for sale around where I live (very cheap). Not sure on the years exactly... but they were nice, I test drove both of them... drive was good.... Nice looking cars for what I like.

for me i would go mustang, camaro, 3000gt (fixing to get) but they are all 2 door cars. im not really a 4 door car man but if i had my choice i would probly go 96 impala ss first, or somthing like a caddy, or lexus. most of those can be found for below 22k so youd have money for mods or w/e you feel like doing. just depends if your looking for somthing decent or somthing new.
