i am curious if the installer is right to say that my 90amp alternator that is in my car will handle it ?
i am sure it is a stronger 90amp alternator because it is a big car, 1997 crystler LHS. pictures can be found in my other threads. Nice big luxury car has all the electronic options, 6 way adjustable seats and all.
the setup already has a heavy duty battery aswell as a capacitor, should i perhaps add another capacitor because this thing is going to draw alot of power when big bass notes drop and i dont want to kill my car in the middle of winter.
Theyre are no larger alternators i can fit into my car for my model just 90 amp's i would have to get one custom built, would a second option if the system will kill the 90 amp + 1 capacitor, or with 2 capacitors could i wire up a 2nd altinator in unison with my existing one ?
this is powering 2 MA audio 18''
i also have the box opened right up into the bottom spare tire well of the car, the Square feet is probably 20sq its a huge box, higher notes u cant really feel but lower ones make the hole car shake.
he wants to put a bottom on the box, and shrink its size, do you think this will loose that low end ? or will it just increase it?
i am getting this done thursday AM, and will have video. the installation is already existing in my car this is just gutting a weaker amp, and installing a much more powerfull one along with that, i had some questions so i thought id ask on here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i should also note, that it will all be 0 gauge wiring ofcoarse.
