US Amps Merlin.2 MD-2D 1-Channel is 1500 watts at 1 ohm

and the subs are 1000 rms and 2000 peak altogether, so will the amp should be perfect to work?

I would have to say yes, because you have some head room. I have a pair if RE SRs that are rated at 300 per sub and I am going to either get a US Amp MD-1D, RF t1500-1, Or an Alpine 1000.1. The reason i am going one of those routes is because I am planning on having 4 subs in my truck instead of two. Just trying to be prepared for my future set up.

as long as I set my gain right and don't mess around with the bass knob, I can turn the radio as high as I want to?
