Getting more power.

Alright I am doing a BIG 3 upgrade soon and I was wanting to get more power to my sub. I have a mb quart 1.2000D mono block amp and a sundown sa-12 D2 sub. I have it wired at 4 ohms as of now but I am wanting to wire it to 1 ohm after I set my gains correctly. Will it be safe to run at 1 ohm or should I just leave it at 4?

Wire it at 1 and set gains accordingly, set a ddm on the battery while it's pkaying with the car at idle and as long as you don't go below 12 you will be fine
